I studied Interior Decorating at Fanshawe College, and spent years in a corporate role that had me moving around Ontario more times than I can count. Packing up, settling in, starting over - it taught me a lot about what actually matters in a home, and what doesn’t.
But the moment that really changed everything came when I lost my dad to PSP - Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, a rare neurological disease that most people have never heard of. Caring for him showed me how completely overwhelming a life transition can be, and how much people are quietly carrying in those moments.
It’s what pushed me to finally stop waiting and build something of my own. Sorted by Joy exists because of him.
I work with people who are navigating moves, downsizing, seniors transitions, and the kind of life changes that feel like too much to tackle alone. My approach is always the same - unhurried, judgement-free, and grounded in genuine care.
This work isn’t about perfection. It’s about creating a space that feels like you again.
